Welcome to Greenrock

Greenrock is working to empower individuals and companies to do their part in making Bermuda socially, economically and environmentally more sustainable.

Earlier this year, in partnership with the Bottom Line Magazine, Greenrock conducted the second annual Green Workplace Awards. This required companies, schools and Government departments, led by their Green Teams, to rethink they way they do business in order to save money and tread more likely on the planet.

Greenrock were happy to have 15 entrants this year and are delighted to announce the winners:

Tenant: Hiscox

Owner Occupier: HSBC & TOPS (joint)

Hospitality: Fairmont Hamilton Princess

Schools: Saltus & Berkeley (joint winners)

Honorable Mentions: Buzz & Bermuda Airport

Green Champion: Diana Antonition

Initiatives undertaken by the winners include finding homes for partially used hotel supplies, sifting through trash, and completely rethinking how to clean offices.

Updated 7th April 2013:
