Greenrock has entered the 2010 bermudacupmatch.com Charity Fashion Competition and we are requesting your vote! Greenrock is up against Raleigh International, Bermuda Red Cross and Chewstick battling for the most votes on our fashion spread. The charity with the most votes wins the grand prize of $2010. We can use this money to help fund projects under our 'Changing the Mindset' fund.

The race is on for the Cup Match charity Loot

The Cup Match Fashion Competition for Charity at bermudaCupMatch.com is reaching its final week and the race is hotly contested.

 

So far Bermuda Red Cross has the most online votes, edging out its fellow non-profit competitors for a $2,010 cash prize in honour of the 2010 Cup Match Classic. However, Raleigh Bermuda, Chewstick Foundation and Greenrock are not far behind. Here are the online vote percentages as of July 12 at 5pm:

Students went head-to-head with politicians as Greenrock hosted a national debate on the Environment. The Island's top high school debaters challenged prominent figures in business and politics, with the motion that 'Green energy should be mandatory in Bermuda'.

Emily Peters, Earth Hour School Road Show winnerEarth Hour 2010 Student Challenge

In March 2010 Greenrock began our Earth Hour School Road Show. Greenrock Management Committee members visited various schools around the island spreading the word and encouraging students and schools to participate in Earth Hour 2010. This year we added a Student Challenge component to engage the students in taking part in this global movement at home.

Harbour Nights turns green as Greenrock screens the documentary film 'Bag It'. The award-winning 80-minute film is being shown on a 50 ft screen at the Bird Cage in Front Street on Wednesday 19th May at 8.30pm.
