This threat has evolved due to our complacency as citizens and Government to proactively manage our energy supply and delivery. We have abdicated this responsibility to a privately-held utility company (Belco) without the regulation and transparency necessary to stimulate long-term, sustainable solutions.
Right now, a White Paper draft of the National Energy Plan is going to be presented to Parliament in the 2010 fall session. Greenrock is encouraging churches, schools, companies, associations and households to take the time to learn more about this Plan since we can minimise this threat today, tomorrow and for future generations.
